The other night I got mugged, and now somewhere out there in London, a man has my wallet. My credit cards and debit cards were cancelled within minutes and are therefore useless to him, but the wallet contained other things that would be of no use to anyone but me (i.e. my I.D. card, NUS card, University I.D., NHS medical exemption certificate, Freedom Pass) and some pictures and things of sentimental value.
All he gained out of the whole thing was £60 in cash, and a swollen, bruised & bloody face from where I beat him repeatedly in the head with one of my crutches. I’m glad I managed to hurt the guy a bit, because he obviously just saw someone on crutches and thought “easy target”, so he was understandably shocked when I floored him in the doorway of a nearby shop. He took quite a few powerful blows with the metal of my crutch right in his face, but unfortunately in the scuffle he managed to escape me before I had a decent grip on him.
The security guards from a nearby club saw him running past and described him to the Police as “bleeding heavily from the face and mouth”. I hope one of those wounds on his face gets heavily infected and he dies.
First world problems.

Four Raspberry Pi SBCs and an Arduino Due had a five-way love in. This produced the UDOO. People should back this on Kickstarter.

A pleasant place for some essay writing on a sunny evening.
My train just passed two men who were tarring the roof of a building in the nude.

The only cinema in London equipped with a Dolby Atmos sound system is not showing Iron Man 3. Jesus pissing Christ.
The Princess Mononoke stage adaptation has opened in London to sell-out performances and rave reviews. The play’s puppets and costumes are made out of recycled material, reflecting Miyazaki’s environmental message.
Haha it’s so weird seeing this photoset over and over again on my dashboard, with thousands of notes.
The gentleman on the left side of the 2nd picture playing Ashitaka is my good friend and former housemate (for 2 fun years) Maximillian Tyler.

The Criminal Justice & Public Order Act of 1994 states that: ”Music” includes sounds wholly or predominantly characterised by the emission of a succession of repetitive beats.
Just wrote and submitted my proposal for a music tech collaboration project with the wonderful Jamie Cullum. Wish me luck everybody, I’m dying to actually do this project. Jazz + Drum & Bass + Max MSP + Jamie Cullum + Nerd (me) = my project. More details to come. I’m super excited about Music Tech Fest.
